Prewedding Weight Loss – Keys To Rapid Success!
Let’s start by defining what prewedding weight loss is and what prewedding weight loss is not. Prewedding weight loss does not mean, “it’s three days before your wedding and you have to lose 15 pounds.” That’s just not gonna happen. However, if your time frame for your prewedding weight loss is at least seven days and better yet, four to six weeks, then you’re in business! By following the tips below and this action plan you can bank on losing 2+ pounds of pure fat per week!
Eat five small meals each day. Avoid two or three large meals. Large, semi infrequent meal mess with your body’s hard wired survival mechanism. For prewedding weight loss to burn fat you must have at least some food on board at all times. Starving yourself (even going without food for 5-6 hours) alerts your body to slow calorie burn because it’s hard wired to keep you alive. By eating small healthy meals (300-400 calorie/meal) five times a day, your really going to speed your calorie burn rate up….and lose weight. Food in your belly says to your body, “burn the fat, no need to save it, we’re not going to starve…at least not today”. It’s really that simple!
Limit daily calories to 1,800
Never go more than four waking hours without eating. See starvation comments above. Snacks are OK and encouraged. Things like fruit, nuts, berries and vegetables are all terrific healthy snacks.
Drink at least 64 ounces of water a day. This too speeds calorie burn rate.
Exercise – although not as critical to weight loss as you might think, it will accelerate your metabolism (calorie burn rate) even more!
Share your weight loss plan with friends and loved ones. They will help keep you on track and out of tempation’s way.
Protein shakes – these work! One a day, no more than 300 calories though. These are really nutritious and as an added benefit they provide a mild appetitie supressant! A good selection of protein shakes can be found at GNC and Super Suppliments.
